Drivroth

Regional Map of the Republic of Inas.

Inas is one of the larger countries on the continent called Drivroth. It is home to two nexuses, the central and tranquil nexus.

Tranquil Nexus

The tranquil nexus is on its decline; the ley lines below have started to shift away from it. The steady geyser of mana shooting into the sky is diminishing slowly until it will one day stop entirely. Because of this mana beasts do not evolve as commonly here anymore, posing little threat to the countries close to it. Eventyr still operates an outpost at the nexus, used for exhibitions and the culling of beasts. The walled city of Wind’Brand has benefited from the close nexus by mining the abundant amount of large mana crystals growing on its land.

Central Nexus

The central nexus is the most active nexus and the largest one, where many ley lines converge. It is not visible on the map above. This nexus still represents a great threat to the countries on Drivroth, as many mana beasts evolve and thrive on it, occasionally swarming onto the continent. Because of this, Eventyr, in alliance with Inas and the Kingdom of Hanari, has erected a wall spanning the entirety of where the nexus connects to the mainland. This is known as the great barrier of Arras. It is permanently manned by high-ranking adventurers of the guild. Over the decades it has existed, an economy trading in monster parts has started to flurish there.

The Republic of Inas

Inas is by far the largest country on Drivroth, it is in an alliance with Tauldir and is in friendly relations with Hanari. Its economy is built upon the mining of mana crystals and the construction of large-scale projects, like defensive walls, dams etc. Inas’Gate is the glowing example of how accomplished their architects are with its three large walls surrounding and protecting the city. The last pillar of its economy is the production of magitek, with Inas rivaling even Windbreak. It is also helpful that Inas’Gate acts as a trading hub and is often the first place ships from other continents land at besides the city-state of Ishniri.

Tauldir

The nation of dwarves, the likely oldest country on Drivroth. Back in the era of anarchy, to escape the constant threat of mana beasts they chose to build their cities below the mountains of Morogh. However, since the era of control, multiple settlements have been built above ground. Tauldir is known for its non-magic technology. Namely, the invention of steam-powered machines used for efficiently boring holes. It is said that when crossing the mountains of Morogh, dark clouds often hang above it, the source being the smoke of the machines below.

Ishniri

Is a city-state that thrives on the trade coming from the barrier of Arras, most ships that arrive on the continent usually make a stop here. The merchants that stop here often buy the monster parts to sell them elsewhere. Ishniri is also known as a city of entertainment, with many enterprising businesses having focused on entertaining and providing for the many seamen and travelers using the city as an in between stop.

Hanari

Is a rather small kingdom that is spread around the Hnari spring and its rivers in the center of the arras dessert. Originally nomadic people, they have only settled in recent times.
